1.1.2 Machines G97/52 – G97.11
• Main control panel (fig. 14) including:
• three-position lower knob A (with guard) for wheel-carrier chucking table open/close control: one
central position –stable- to stop chucking table movement and two positions –unstable- to open/close
chucking table jaw;
• three-position lever B for tool carrier translation control: one central position –stable- to stop translation
and two positions –unstable- for support translation toward chucking table and in opposite direction;
• three-position lever C for chucking table arm rotation control: central "stable" position to stop movement
and two "unstable" positions for arm downward and upward rotation;
• three-position chucking table rotation speed selector D: position "0" to stop movement, position "1" for low
speed, position "2" for high speed;
• Two-position electrical power main switch A (Fig.15): position 1 for powering the machine, position 0 for
cutting off power to the machine (with the switch in position 1, the hydraulic unit motor begins to turn – with
minimum energy consumption – and continues to run until the switch is set on 0 again.
• Tool carrier B (Fig.15) (mobile on guide).
• Tool C (Fig.15).
• Carrier guide D (Fig.15)
• Chucking table arm complete with drive E (Fig.15).
• Chucking table arm rotation cylinder F (Fig.15).

1.1.3 Machines G98.13 - G98E.13 - G102.15 - G102.15M

• Two-position electrical power main switch A (Fig. 18): position 1 for powering the machine, position 0 for
cutting off power to the machine (with the switch in position 1, the hydraulic unit motor begins to turn – with
minimum energy consumption – and continues to run until the switch is set on 0 again.
• Cylinder B (Fig. 18) for tilting up tool carrier arm (only G98E.13-G102.15).
• Rim clamping pressure check gauge C (Fig. 18)
• Tool carrier A (Fig. 19) (sliding on the guide).
• Tool D (Fig. 19) consisting of a hook (articulated) and a beading disc.
• Wheel-carrier surface D (Fig. 18) (integral with the tool carrier).
• Chucking table arm complete with drive G (Fig. 18).
• Wheel-carrier chucking table B (Fig. 19).
• Hydraulic unit E (Fig. 18).
• Tool carrier shaft rotation cylinder (A Fig.19 present inside tool carrier shaft in G98E.13-G102.15 versions).
• Chucking table arm rotation cylinder F (Fig. 18).
• Carriage translation cylinder H (Fig. 18).
• Carriage guide C (Fig. 19).
• Oil-hydraulic motor G (Fig. 21) for tool carrier shaft traverse (only G98E.13-G102.15).
1.1.3.1 Control post (Model G98.13-G102.15M)
Control post (Fig. 20) including:
three-position lower knob A (with guard) for wheel-carrier chucking table open/close control: one
central position –stable- to stop chucking table open/close movement and two positions –unstable- to
open/close chucking table jaw;
three-position lever B for tool carrier translation control: one central position –stable- to stop translation
and two positions –unstable- for support translation toward chucking table and in opposite direction;
three-position lever C for chucking table arm rotation control: central "stable" position to stop movement
and two "unstable" positions for arm downward and upward rotation;
three-position chucking table rotation speed selector E: position "0" to stop movement, position "1" for
low speed, position "2" for high speed;
Clamp rotation control pedals: set on D post (Fig.20) to control clockwise rotation (pedal 1) and counter
clockwise rotation (pedal 2) (if speed switch E is on 1 "low speed" or on 2 "high speed").
