11.9 REPlACING ThE PUMP PURIFIER FIlTER AND
ClEANING ThE OIl TANK
1) To access the pump, follow steps 3 to 9 in section 11.7.
2) Depending on the model of the pump in the machine, proceed as follows:
8-12-18-25 m³/h PUMP: use pliers to undo the cap of the purifier filter
on the body of the pump (Fig. 5). Remove the purifier filter (Fig. 6).
3) Remove the screw on the oil drain slide (Fig. 7). Check that the slide (Fig.
8), can permit collection of oil from the pump.
4) Use a hexagon wrench to remove the oil filling cap (A) at the top of the
pump.
5) Use the same wrench to remove the drain cap (B).Be careful because, as
soon as the cap is removed, the oil will flow out of the pump and directly
down the slide into a container (Fig. 9). Leave the oil to flow out for about
ten minutes.
