DESMONTAJE RUEDA COMPLETA
Lea con cuidado pág. 9-15 (PRECAUCIONES E IN-
FORMACIONES GENERALES).
Durante el desmontaje y el montaje ponga cui-
dado en no dañar los tubos, los discos y las
pastillas de los frenos.
Para sacar la rueda delantera es necesario

preparar los caballetes de soporte delantero
y trasero
correspondientes.
-
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete de soporte tra-
sero correspondiente
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete de soporte de-
lantero correspondiente
Compruebe la estabilidad del vehículo.
Bloquee el manillar en posición de marcha de manera
que la dirección quede bloqueada.
Par de apirte tornillos (1) pinza freno:
50 Nm (5 kgm).
Afloje y apriete los dos tornillos (1) de fijación pinza
freno delantero (2).
Extraiga la pinza freno (2) del disco, dejándola vin-
culada al tubo (3).
No accione la palanca del freno delantero tras
haber extraído las pinzas porque en caso con-
trario los émbolos podrían salirse de sus se-
des, causando la pérdida del líquido de los frenos.
Par de apriete tuerca rueda (4):
80 Nm (8 kgm).
Destornille y quite la tuerca (4) y guarde la arandela.
Destornille parcialmente los dos tornillos (5) de la
brida eje rueda.
Coloque por debajo del neumático un soporte (6) para
mantener la rueda en posición tras haberla soltado.
Extraiga el eje rueda (7) del lado izquierdo.
Saque la rueda extrayéndola por la parte delantera y
guarde el distanciador izquierdo (8) en caso de que
haya salido de su alojamiento.
SUSTITUCION COJINETES
Lea con cuidado pág. 9-15 (PRECAUCIONES E IN-
FORMACIONES GENERALES).
Extraiga la rueda, véase arriba (DESMONTAJE RUE-
DA COMPLETA).
Con un trapo limpie los dos lados del cubo.
Extraiga el anillo seeger (11).
Utilizando el adecuado extractor
ga el cojinete izquierdo (12) y el derecho (13).
Después de cada desmontaje controle los co-
jinetes y, si es necesario, sustitúyalos.
Guarde el distanciador interior (14).
Limpie muy bien el interior del cubo.
Lave todos los componentes con detergente
limpio.
Para montar nuevamente los cojinetes, utilice
una herramienta con diámetro igual al anillo
exterior de los cojinetes.
No golpee sobre las bolas y/o sobre el anillo interior
Los componentes deben montarse del lado contrario
al disco de freno, controlando que el cojinete (13)
haga tope perfectamente.

REMOVING THE WHOLE WHEEL
Read p. 9-16 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL INFOR-
MATION) carefully.
While disassembling and reassembling the
wheel, be careful not to damage the brake
pipes, the discs and the pads.
To remove the front wheel it is necessary to
-
use the appropriate front and rear support
stands

Position the vehicle on the appropriate rear support
stand
.

Position the vehicle on the appropriate front support
stand
.
Make sure that the vehicle is stable.
Have someone keep the handlebar steady in running
position, so that the steering is locked.
Brake caliper screw (1) driving torque:
50 Nm (5 kgm).
Unscrew and remove the two screws (1) that fasten
the front brake caliper (2).
Withdraw the brake caliper (2) from the disc, leaving
it attached to the pipe (3).
Never pull the front brake lever after removing
the calipers, otherwise the pistons may go out
of their seats, thus causing the outflow of the
brake fluid.
Wheel nut (4) driving torque:
80 Nm (8 kgm).
Loosen and remove the nut (4), taking the washer.
Partially unscrew the two screws (5) from the wheel
pin clamp.
Put a support (6) under the tyre, in such a way as to
keep the wheel in its position after loosening it.
Withdraw the wheel pin (7) from the left side.
Remove the wheel withdrawing it from the front and
take the left spacer ring (8) if it has come out of its
seat.
CHANGING THE BEARINGS
Read p. 9-16 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL INFOR-
MATION) carefully.
Remove the wheel, see above (REMOVING THE
WHOLE WHEEL).
Clean both sides of hub with a clean cloth.
Remove the snap ring (11).
By means of the appropriate extractor
left bearing (12) and the rear bearing (13).
The bearings must be checked and if neces-
sary changed every time they are disassem-
bled.
Take the inner spacer (14).
Thoroughly clean the inside of the hub.
Wash all the components with a clean deter-
gent.
Upon reassembly, to insert the bearings use a
punch with diameter equal to the outer ring of
the bearings.
Do not strike against the balls and/or the inner ring.
The components must be reassembled from the op-
posite side of the brake disc, making sure that the
bearing (13) is perfectly in contact.
