Controle las condiciones tras los primeros 1000 km (625
mi) y, sucesivamente, cada 4000 km (2500 mi).
La presión de inflado debe controlarse todos los meses y
a temperatura ambiente.
Este vehículo está equipado con neumáticos sin cámara
(tubeless).
CONDICIONES DE LA BANDA DE RODADURA
Controle el estado superficial y el desgaste,
ya que una mala condición de los neumáticos
compromete la adherencia al pavimento y la
maniobrabilidad del vehículo.
Substituya el neumático si el mismo está gastado o
si hay un pinchazo más ancho de 5 mm en la zona de
la banda de rodadura.

PRESIÓN DE INFLADO
Controle periódicamente la presión de inflado
de los neumáticos a la temperatura ambiente.
La medición será incorrecta si los neumáticos
están calientes. Sobre todo, efectúe la medición des-
pués de cada viaje largo.
Si la presión de inflado es demasiado alta, las irregu-
laridades del terreno no serán amortiguadas y, por lo
tanto, serán transmitidas al manillar, compromen-
tiendo el confort de la marcha y reduciendo también
la adherencia en curva.
Si al contrario, la presión de inflado es insuficiente,
los flancos del neumático trabajarán más, y la goma
podría resbalar o salirse de la llanta, provocando la
pérdida de control del vehículo. Además, en el caso
de frenadas bruscas, los neumáticos podrían salir de
la llanta. Además, en las curvas el vehículo podría
derrapar.

Check condition of tyres after the first 1000 km (625 mi)
and then after every 4000 km (2500 mi).
The inflation pressure must be checked every month and
at room temperature.
This vehicle is provided with tubeless tyres.
CONDITION OF TREAD
Check the surface of tyres and their wear in as
a faulty condition of the tyres compromises
their grip as well as the manoeuvrability of the
vehicle.
Change the tyre if worn or if an eventual puncture in
the area of the tread is larger than 5 mm.

INFLATION PRESSURE
Periodically check the pressure of the tyres at
room temperature. If the tyres are hot, the
measurement is not correct.
Measure pressure without fail after every long jour-
ney.
If the inflation pressure is too high, the bumps in the
road/ground are not absorbed and are therefore
transmitted to the handlebar, compromising the com-
fort of the drive as well as reducing roadholding in
curves.
If, contrarily, the inflation pressure is insufficient, the
sides of the tyres are more exposed and may slip on
the rim or even become detached from it, with the
consequent loss of control of the vehicle.
In case of abrupt braking, the tyres can come away
from the rims.
Moreover the vehicle may easily skid in curves.
