Front Support Plate
The Front Support Plate (shown in FiWre 6-11) must be removed before most of the components
at

the front end of the printer can be accessed.
Remove the Main Body Covers.
Disconnect the ground wire screw (1) and mble restraint connected to the plate.
Remove the screws (6) securing the plate to the printer.
Carefully lift the plate slightly and to the right to avoid snagging the Laser/Scanning Assembly
wbles. Be pdicularly careful of the fiber optic cable.
Be sure to replace the cable restraint as shown in Figure 6-11 to ensure mbles are properly routed.
