2. General description

This booklet includes instructions for installation, operation and

maintenance of Grundfos SE1 and SEV submersible sewage and
12
wastewater pumps with motors of 1.1 to 11 kW. Grundfos SE1
13
and SEV sewage and wastewater pumps are designed for
13
pumping domestic, municipal and industrial sewage and
14
wastewater.

Two types of pumps are available:

SE1 pumps with S-tube impeller
16
•
SEV pumps with SuperVortex impeller.

The pumps can be installed on an auto-coupling system or stand
19
freely on the bottom of a pit. They can even be dry-installed in
19
either vertical or horizontal position.

Grundfos SE1 and SEV pumps are designed with an S-tube and
20
SuperVortex impeller, respectively, to ensure reliable and
21
optimum operation.

The booklet also includes specific instructions for the explosion-

proof pumps.
