ORBIWELD TP 400, TP 600
Carry out connections TP AVC/OSC in the following order:
NOTE!
If a remote control is used (optional – not included in scope of delivery):
X The EMERGENCY OFF switch at the remote control must be unlocked!
1. Attach the "Strain relief" snap hook (2e) of the hose package to the "Strain relief" eye (1h) at the power source.
2. Connect the "Gas" plug (2c) of the hose package to the "Gas" socket (1a) at the power source.
3. Connect the "Welding current –" plug (2b) of the hose package to the "Welding current –" socket (1d) at the power source
and lock it with a turning movement.
4. Connect the "Cooling liquid return line" plug, red (2d) of the hose package to the "Cooling liquid supply line" socket, red
(1c) at the power source.
5. Connect the "Cooling liquid supply line" plug, blue (2a) of the hose package to the "Cooling liquid supply line" socket, blue
(1b) at the power source.
6. Connect the Amphenol plug "Control line" to power source" (5b) to the "Control line" socket (1f) at the power source.
7. Connect the "Control line to welding tongs" plug (5a) to the "Control line" socket (3a) at the welding tongs and screw tight.
8. Connect the "Control line AVC/OSC" plug (2h) of the hose package to the "Control line AVC/OSC" socket (1i) at the power
source hand-tight and screw hand-tight.
9. Connect the "Measuring strand AVC/OSC +" plug, red (6c) of the ground cable to the "Measuring strand AVC/OSC +" socket,
red (1k) to the power source and screw hand-tight. If applicable remove the connection adapter.
10. Connect the "Ground cable" plug (6b) of the ground cable to the "Welding current" +" socket (1e) at the power source and
screw hand-tight.
11. Connect the "Measuring strand AVC/OSC –" plug, black (2g) of the ground cable to the "Measuring strand AVC/OSC –"
socket, black (1j) to the power source and screw hand-tight.
12. Connect the "Remote control" plug (4a) in the "Remote control" socket (1g) to the power source. Remove the dummy plug
beforehand.
13. Clamp the "Ground cable" clamp (6a) of the ground cable to the workpiece (3b). Ensure good electrical contact (if necessary,
grind the workpiece surface down to the bare metal).
14. Switch on the welding power supply.
15. Carry out a gas and cooling liquid function test. (see chap. 8.7, p. 99). If necessary, top up the cooling liquid.
