- Failures; when error codes appear on the display "G2" or "I2".
The following is a list of error codes along with the relative error
conditions:
- Display "G2"
EPt1 - Oven chamber probe (located internally at the centre of the
left-hand oven chamber wall), interrupted or in short circuit.
EPt2 - Boiler probe (positioned in its housing towards the top right
hand side of the container), interrupted or in short circuit.
EPt4 - Bypass probe (located on the piping which joins the rear
part of the oven chamber (below the motor) and the drainage
collector), interrupted or in short circuit.
EPT8 - Damaged temperature sensor for the electronic
components.
ESCH - Electronic control circuit cooling device malfunctioning.
Etub - Steam generator temperature limit switch activated .
Etuc - Oven chamber temperature limit switch activated .
- Display "I2"
EPt3 - Meat probe interrupted or in short circuit.

IMPORTANT!

While an error code is being displayed during a cooking cycle
the buzzer will sound continuously.
Cooking cycles however, which are not effected by the indi-
vidual error condition may still be used.
Write down the error conditions present in the displays "G2"
and/or "I2" and inform the after sales service.

6. COOKING METHODS

Switch on the machine , the green led "A" will light up.
6.1 Convection cooking cycle "1" with the steam releif valve
closed or open for very dry convection cooking.
• Press the button relative to the chosen cooking method.
The display "G2", the oven chamber temperature value.
• Set the thermostat knob "G" to the desired temperature (shown
on the display "G2") in the cooking chamber, max. 300°C.
After turning the knob, the display "G2" will flash for about 3
seconds indicating the set temperature, after which it will once
again monitor the temperature in the oven chamber.
• Rotate the timer knob "H" until "H2" shows the required value
which is equal to: oven chamber preheating time + cooking time,
0 to 120 minutes - Cont.
• After setting the time and the temperature press the "START"
button an the following will occur:
- The oven chamber ventilator fan will start rotating and after a few
seconds the type of heating specific to the chosen cooking cycle
will commence.
- The display "G2", will show the changing temperature in the
oven chamber until it reaches the set value.
- The display "G1", indicates when the oven chamber heating is
active.
- The display "H2", shows the time remaining until the end of the
cycle.
• A the end of the cycle an acoustic buzzer will sound for about 1
minute.
Note:
• If you need to control the exact set temperature after the cycle
start up this can be achieved by slightly rotating the knob "G";
slightly rotating the knob "H" will give you the exact cooking time
which has been set.
• The chosen cooking type can also be changed after start up by
first visualising the parameters (led "F" lit) and then changing the
cooking method.
• Check the functioning of the appliance from time to time during
the cooking cycle (check the oven chamber temperature and/or
steam production) as the intervention of the burner blocking
devices indicated by "RB" and "RC" lighting up, will compromise
the outcome of the cycle.
Pressing the button which is lit up will allow you to reset the flame
control device for "RB" (steam generator burner) and "RC" (con-
vection burner) respectively.
• To carry out a very dry cooking cycle you can manually open
the oven chamber steam relief valve "S" (fig.4), by working the
lever placed towards the front on the upper right-hand side of the
appliance; turned to the left the valve is "CLOSED" and turned to
the right the valve is "OPEN".
6.2 Steam/convection cooking cycle - "2"
• Press button "2" -superheated steam-, the generator will auto-
matically preheat the boiler.
• Set the desired oven chamber temperature within the preset
range of between 25 to 210 °C (max. 250 °C).
• Set the cooking cycle time.
• When the oven chamber has reached the set temperature
insert the food - beware off superheated steam which escapes
when the door is opened-.
6.3 Saturated steam cycle - "3"
• Press button "3" -saturated steam cooking-.
• Set the cooking cycle time.
The cycle obviously doesn't require a cooking temperature
setting.
6.4 Food -regeneration cooking cycle- "4"
• Press button "4" - food regeneration cooking cycle- which may
be either precooked and/or deep frozen.
• Set the desired temperature and cycle times as described in
paragraph 6.2. This cooking method carries out a steam/convec-
tion cycle with controlled humidity and may be activated with the
door open.
6.5 Thermostatically controlled steam cycle 15 to 99°C - "6"
• Press button "6" -thermostatically controlled steam cooking 15
to 99°C-.
• Turn knob "G" until the display "G2" shows a value of between
15 and 99 °C.
• Set the cooking cycle time.
6.6 Rapid cooling of the oven chamber-
To rapidly cool down the oven chamber, press the ventilation
button "M";
the ventilator fan will rotate and water will be let into the oven
chamber (see control panel description).
To stop the cycle press button "M" a second time. You are advised
not to exceed cycles of 15 minutes.
This function is also active with the door open
6.7 Cooking using the meat probe
• Insert the meat probe into the centre of the food which is to be
cooked.
• press the button relative to the cooking method (buttons 1 to 6)
• Turn the knob "G" and the display "G2" will show the tempera-
ture to be reached in the oven chamber.
• Turn the knob "I" until the display "I2" indicates the required
temperature at the core of the product
The cycle begins when the "START" button is pressed indicated
by the indicator lamp "C" lighting up.
The use of the meat probe doesn't require a time to be set, once
the cycle is started, the cooking time is computed and visu-
alized on display "H2" at the end of the cycle when the buzzer
sounds.
The cooking duration using the meat probe is conditioned by 2
temperatures:
The external temperature (the temperature "G2" in the oven
chamber) and the internal temperature (the temperature "I2" at
the core of the product).
Once the desired temperature, taken by the meat probe at the
core of the product, has been reached the cycle will stop auto-
matically indicated by the sounding of a buzzer for approximately
one minute or the passage on to the next sequential stage if
present.
Note: If you wish to interrupt a meat probe cooking cycle and
carry it on using a normal timer cycle you must first rotate the
knob "I" anticlockwise (-) until the display "I2" turns off and
then set the cooking time in "H2".
