• Adjusting the angle (only relevant when using the Standard module)
On the vertical axis, the module carrier can be turned relative to the driver housing.
For design-related reasons, the piezo element does not have a rotationally symmetrical
cross-section. The discharge shape creates the optimum angles for the most
homogeneous activation results possible.
Depending on the direction of movement of the substrate to be treated relative to the unit,
the angle of attack can be optimised if high homogeneity is required.
To do this, unfasten the adjusting screw until the screw head can be moved across the
recesses in the cutaway.
The pre-packaged angles are -76 °, -45 °, -14 °, 0 °, +14 °, +45 ° and +76 °.
For optimum homogeneity at the maximum treatment width, please choose an angle of
45 °.
For optimum homogeneity at the maximum treatment intensity, please choose an angle
of 14 ° / 76 ° (depending on the direction of travel).
• Fitting the seal label
To prevent accidental adjustment of these settings, the adjusting screw can be masked
using the enclosed seal label. The interface to the module carrier during a module
change can be done without tools and without changes to the positioning of the module
carrier.
