To remove an exchange module, first wait until it has cooled down. Depending on the
exchange module, operation can cause it to heat substantially.
Turn the locking ring on the module carrier anti-clockwise into its 'open' position (red).
Pull the exchange module downwards and out of the module carrier. For this, grip the
front area from outside, as shown in this illustration, without touching the piezo element.
If the installation situation prevents the exchange module from being removed
downwards when mounted, the module carrier including module can be removed without
tools. To prevent damage to the module cable, we advise that you disconnect it before
removing the module carrier.
Pull the module carrier forwards to remove it from the driver unit then remove the
exchange module as described above.
It is also possible to plug the module carrier back onto the driver housing without tools.
Attention – Damage to device!
Do not grip inside the device if no exchange module is installed, and do not insert any
objects in the device aperture except for the exchange modules designed for this purpose.
Only grip the exchange modules in the front area as described above and avoid contact
with the contact board and the piezo element.
Carefully install the exchange modules and also remove them carefully.
