rinse it thoroughly with water.
2. For other parts (file grip, contra-angle and white leads), use disinfectant wipes on all visible parts.
3. Inspect, dry and pack the accessory parts as quickly as possible.
INSPECTION / MAINTENANCE
Check all the accessory parts after cleaning or cleaning/disinfection. Dispose of defective accessory parts immediately.
Defects may include:
· malfunctioning of the file grip mechanism
· Corrosion
· Unusual mechanical noise from the contra-angle.
There is no specific maintenance for the accessory parts, except for the contra-angle.
PACKING
Please pack the accessory parts in disposable sterilisation bags (individual single-use packaging) that meet the following
requirements:
· compliance with Standard EN ISO 11607
· suitable for steam sterilisation (temperature safe to at least 137°C (279°F), sufficiently steam-permeable)
STERILISATION
The sterilisation procedure only applies to the accessory parts, such as the leads, file grip, labial electrode and contra-
angle.
Only use the sterilisation methods given below; other methods are not permissible.
Steam sterilisation.
Sterilisation validation must be done in accordance with Standards EN ISO 17664 - EN ISO 17665 and the AAMI TIR 12
Technical information report - Full cycle 134°C and 18 minutes. (prion cycle).
Be careful not to burn yourself when picking up the accessories.
INFORMATION
The MM.CONTROL control box cannot be sterilised. Do not put the MM.control in an ultrasonic bath or disinfectant solu-
tion. The electronic parts are not compatible with chemical agents. Only clean the device using an off-the-shelf, fragrance-
free, alcohol based disinfectant (ethanol, isopropanol). The use of or a scouring powder or an abrasive sponge would
cause damage to its surface. Do not use a disinfectant spray on the MM.control or the motor.
Rapid sterilisation processes and sterilisation of unpackaged accessory parts are not permitted.
Do not use hot-air sterilisation, radiation sterilisation or sterilisation involving formaldehyde, ethylene oxide or plasma.
STORAGE
After sterilisation, the instruments must be stored dry and dust-free in the sterilisation packaging.

MATERIAL DURABILITY

When selecting cleaning and disinfection products, make sure that you do not use phenol, strong acids, strong aldehyde
disinfectants or anticorrosive solutions.
The material is temperature-resistant up to 137 °C / 279 °F (maximum application temperature).
