PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Puncture Dilator
The Blom-Singer Puncture Dilator (diagram 1) is a tapered, solid
silicone stent that is inserted into the tracheoesophageal (TE)
puncture upon removal of the voice prosthesis. Its purpose
is to prevent the puncture from closing; prevent leakage of
esophageal contents into the trachea during swallowing; and
dilate the puncture to ease voice prosthesis insertion. This device
can also be placed for longer intervals in emergency situations
when the voice prosthesis is unavailable.
This device is available for use by the patient and/or clinician. The
user should always have a Puncture Dilator, of the appropriate
diameter, readily available.
Voice Prosthesis Sizer
The Blom-Singer Voice Prosthesis Sizer (diagram 2) is used to
measure the length of the tracheoesophageal puncture tract
between the trachea and the esophagus to determine the
