For disinfection, wipe thoroughly once a day after cleaning inside and out with a soft, lint-free
cloth moistened with 94 % alcohol. Wipe inside with a cotton swab moistened with 94 % alco-
hol and then rinse thoroughly with clear water and allow to dry completely while standing on a
paper towel.
Oral tube
 To clean, wipe the top end of the tube thoroughly once a day with a soft, lint-free cloth moiste-
ned with water and a few drops of commercial dishwashing detergent, then rinse the entire tube
thoroughly with warm, clear water and leave to dry completely on a paper towel.
 For disinfection, boil the cleaned oral tube without adapter once a day in a pot for 5 minutes in
clear water and let it dry completely standing on a paper towel. For the long oral tube, remove
the attachment before boiling. Thoroughly wipe the disinfection attachment with a cotton swab
soaked in 94 % alcohol, rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry completely on a
paper towel.
8.4 SERVOX ® digital XL belt pouch and SERVOX
The carrying strap must be removed from the SERVOX
cleaning. All items must be removed from the belt pouch beforehand.
SERVOX digital XL belt pouch or SERVOX digital XL carrying strap should be soaked in warm water

with a few drops of dishwashing detergent and washed regularly, at least when dirty. Then rinse the
belt pouch or carrying strap thoroughly with clear water and allow to dry completely.

9 Maintenance and repair

With correct use, no regular maintenance is necessary. Repairs may only be carried out by specialist
personnel authorised by Servona GmbH.
Should maintenance or repair be necessary, the SERVOX
and sent together with a description of the fault, a copy of the invoice, the charger and the batteries
in the original packaging to the local Servona sales partner or, if the device was purchased directly
from Servona, to Servona GmbH.

11 Period of use and disposal

The SERVOX ® digital XL as well as the charger and travel adapter are subject to EC Directive 2012/19/
EU (WEEE) and, like rechargeable batteries and batteries, must not be disposed of with normal house-
hold waste. For disposal, collection points have been set up at the public waste management author-
ities (municipalities) to take back old appliances from private households free of charge. Batteries and
rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge by retailers.
