In the event of faults or malfunctions that require the presence of Marposs personnel, contact your nearest
service centre.
1.6 How to order spare parts
To order spare parts, please contact your nearest MARPOSS distributor and quote the corresponding 10
figure part number, as indicated in Chapter 8 "SPARE PARTS LIST". The list contains the part number and
a corresponding description.
1.7 Consulting this manual
Various different text formats were used when preparing this manual. There are two types of safety
warnings:
1.7.1 Key to symbols:
WARNING
This symbol indicates the risk of damage to the electronic unit or other devices connected to it,
or the risk of data loss.
ATTENTION
This symbol indicates the presence of risk conditions for the operator or technician.
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD
While fault finding on live components personnel may be exposed to electric shock hazards as
the result of direct or indirect contact (users are reminded that they are obliged to wear the
appropriate personal protection devices).
FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARDS
The quasi-machine may not be used in environments that are subject to the risk of fires or
explosions (the quasi-machine does not conform to the requirements of the directive 94/9/CE
ATEX)
CRUSHING HAZARD
Take care to avoid injury to the operator when removing the Arm from its packaging.
Environmental hazard
Recycle and/or dispose of in accordance with the applicable regulations in the destination
Country.
NO SMOKING
The operator's hands must be free from any foreign objects or dangerous items when carrying
out the installation procedures.
For this reason smoking is prohibited while installing the unit.
