2.1.5 General notes
2.1.5.1 Operator's position
The Arm has been designed and built to be slaved to an operating machine, and to behave as an effective
sub-assembly of it.
Therefore, the position that the operator must take up during the various operating phases, especially
during production or maintenance operations, is indicated in the manual supplied with the machine where
the Arm is to be installed.
2.1.5.2 Operator's duties
The operator assigned to install the equipment shall be responsible for:
1. lifting and transporting the Arm and placing it in storage;
2. installing the Arm;
3. dismantling the Arm;
During normal operation the operator shall be responsible for:

The maintenance personnel shall be responsible for:
1. carrying out the ordinary maintenance activities stipulated by the manufacturer;
2. checking for signs of wear and tear;
3. unscheduled maintenance activities (replacing and/or repairing components);
4. correcting faults;
5. reporting unexpected situations (wear, breakages, etc.) not covered by this manual and therefore
generated by unforeseen causes.
