5.3.1 Installing the probe housing garage

1. Move the MIDA TOOL EYE-ELECTRIC Arm to the home position.
WARNING
When moving the Arm, do not attempt to force it manually but use the movement procedures
described in the machine tool instructions.
2. Position the housing garage so that it is resting against the Arm in order to determine an initial
approximation of the final position of the cylindrical body.
3.
Adjust the position of the garage so that the probe enters it correctly.
4. Prepare the mounting holes on the machine panel.
5. Insert the 2 x M6 x 40 mm screws and secure the garage to the machine.
5.3.2 Fitting the probe on the Arm
Perform the operations illustrated in Figure 5-3:
