b. INSPECTION
• MAIN RELAY
NOTICE
Use a known-good battery and connect it to the main relay
terminals with care not to short-circuit the main relay.
1) Connect the battery cables to the main relay terminals as
shown, and check for continuity between the terminals.
Between No.3 and No.4 terminals
2) Disconnect the battery cables from the main relay
terminals, and check for continuity between the terminals.
Between No.3 and No.4 terminals
3) If there is any abnormality, replace the main relay.
• STARTER SOLENOID
NOTICE
Use a known-good battery and connect it to the starter
solenoid terminals with care not to short-circuit the starter
solenoid.
1) Connect the battery cables to the starter solenoid terminals
as shown, and check for continuity between the terminals.
Between B and M terminals
2) Disconnect the battery cables from the terminals, and
check for continuity between the terminals.
Between B and M terminals
3) If there is any abnormality, replace the starter solenoid.
• NEUTRAL SWITCH
1) Check for continuity between the terminals with the switch
in each position.

2) If there is any abnormality, replace the neutral switch.
