Normal Use
Cooling State – Automatic Exit
An automatic exit of the cooling state will occur when the cooling timer reaches 00:00. At this
conclusion of the cooling period, the following screen will be displayed to allow setup of the Generator
for another treatment.

Activating the Power Output
When the Treatment Screen is displayed, press the Left (yellow) Footswitch to activate RF energy for
cutting from Instrument types with cutting functionality. Press the Right (blue) Footswitch to activate
MW energy for coagulation.
Confirm that the Electrosurgical Generator output settings are as intended before treating the patient.
When using Instruments for endoscopic applications, position the Interface Cable and the part of the
Instrument which are not within the endoscope such that they do not contact the patient.
When the output is active, the Electrosurgical Generator will emit a continuous audible tone from the
speake
r.
Cut Power Output
When Type 1 Instruments are selected, pressing the Left (yellow) Footswitch pedal activates the delivery
of RF energy to the tip of the Instrument for cutting soft tissue. While this RF cut waveform is delivered:
- the word CUT1 and the power setting are highlighted on the Treatment Screen
- a high-pitched tone is audible
- the yellow cut indicator LED on the Front Panel is illuminated
- a rotating line animation is shown at the bottom Treatment Screen
