OVERHAUL TO FLYWHEEL. ST ATOR
For the substitution of a coil utilize the tool 13768/C
( fig. 25) as follows:
1. - Mount the new coil ( which is supplied with the
pole shoe turned to diameter) without locking
the securing screws.
2. - Mount the stator on the part « b » of the tool.
3. - Mount the detail « a » into « b » ensuring that
they are perfectly mated.
4. - Set the coil so that the pole shoes are in perfect
contact with the internal dia. of the detail « a »
and tighten the securing screws.
To dismantle and assemble the component parts
of the stator use the component
tool 13768/C as a support, taking care to:
a) - Secure the coil according to the procedure in
dicated on the paragraphs, 1, 2, 3 and 4.
b) - Scrape, the surface of the coil pole shoe which
butts against the earthing wire tag.
c) - After having completed the assembly of the
group and set the gap between the points ( see
pag. 106 and 107), tighten the screw securing
the eccentric pin.
