GEAR CHANGE
a ) - Substitution of gear selector bell crank.
For connecting the internal bell crank to the
gear selector, group which when issued as a
spare part is mounted together with the re-
taine r pin, operate as follows:
l ) Disconnect the crank and selector, inter-
pose the selector guide plate and then re
mount.
2) Rivet the connecting pin as indicated in
fig. 32.
b) - Control adiustment
1 ) If in the « 0 » position the lever has an
excessive play, suitably adjust one of the
two cables by acting on the relative adju
sting screw « a » ( fig. 33).
2) If the incisions of the handlebars do not
coincide with the reference index mark,
tighten the appropriate adjusting screw and
slacken the corresponding counterpart so as
to maintain the existing cable tension.
