- Oil seal ( position the cut-out so that
it corresponds the hole for passage of
fuel mixture for lubricating bearing).
N. B. - On the Vespa G. S./VSB 1 the
main bearing clutch side 1s lubricated
by the oil in the gear box.
Mainsha ft bearing ( coat the cage with
grease).
CAUTIO N - For mountin g the main bea
rings and relative oil seals heat the hou
sings on the crankcase to about 80
with an apposite heater.
Main roller bearing ( * *) : heat the

crankcase half as indicated above.
Circlip; inner oil seal on main roller

bearing; cluster gear bearing.
Slotted bearing housing.

For rotating the cast iron bearing hou
sing, for anchorage of the kickstarter
return spring, use the kickstarter itself
or the wrench T. 0019982.
- Cluster gear roller bearing. Check that

23 rollers are applied ( coated with
grease).
