ENGINE OIL CHANGE
CAUTION - PRECAUTION

The engine oil to be replaced must be
drained while still hot or warm to allow
the particles of suspended debris to
drain off.
When the engine oil is completely cold,
the debris tend to settle at the bottom
of the oil sump and then circulate again
when the engine is started.
Avoid contact with hot engine parts
and hot oil.
Wear appropriate gloves and clothing.
Follow the procedure below:
IMPORTANT
Turn off the engine and remove the
ignition key. Wait at least 6 minutes
before disconnecting the negative
battery cable.
1 - Place a container with suitable capacity
under the point where the oil to be
replaced is drained.
IMPORTANT
The oil sump is equipped with two
engine oil drain plugs. To drain the
oil, unscrew the plug with better
accessibility depending on how the
engine is installed on the vehicle.
Do not handle in any way the plug not
selected for oil drain.
2 - Unscrew the plug (M).
3 - Unscrew the drain plug (Q), remove
the seal (R). Let all the oil drain into the
container.
