AIR BLEEDING FROM FUEL SUPPLY CIRCUIT
CAUTION - WARNING

Do not use the starter motor to try to
bleed air from fuel circuit.
IMPORTANT
This operation must be carried out
after each pre-fuel filter cartridge
replacement.
IMPORTANT
To do a correct air bleeding of the fuel
circuit is mandatory to start from the
pre fuel filter and then the main fuel
filter.
To bleed the air from the fuel supply circuit
on the pre-fuel filter, proceed as follows:
IMPORTANT
Turn off the engine and remove the
ignition key. Wait at least 6 minutes
before disconnecting the negative
battery cable.
1 - Carry out the operation with the engine
cold.
2 - Avoid contact with hot engine parts
and fuel. Wear appropriate gloves and
clothing.
3 - Prepare a container with appropriate
capacity under the fuel filter.

4 - Partially loosen the screw (D fig. 1) to
allow the fuel to be bled to drain.
5 - Manually activate the pump (F fig. 1)
until the fuel drained has no air bubbles.
6 - Tighten the screw (D fig. 1).
