1.1 PANATERM for Safety

The program "PANATERM for Safety" is a graphically oriented software for the creation of a PLC-based
monitoring program for an AC Servo Driver MINAS A6 Multi series.
This programming software provides graphical preparation of monitoring programs using functional block
method, as well as the parameterization of sensors, actuators and other technological functions used.
This technical reference explains the basic specifications of PANATERM for Safety. The technical reference
describes the main dialogue windows and the procedures on the basis of practical examples.
This document is for machinery designer who has basic knowledge of Windows
boxes and menus, also knowledge of basic principles of programmable logic control (PLC).

Monitoring program at the time of shipment
At the time of shipment, the safety monitoring program is enabled only the driver module (device) and STO
function with the fixed OFF state. If the advanced safety function is not required, motor drive and EtherCAT
communication can be used normally as is.
