5.2 General workflow
Drag an icon from the library or from a menu option and Drop it to the canvas to insert it into the selected
scheme. If this is possible, the element is automatically inserted into the canvas. The proposed process steps
correspond to the considerations that should be executed when planning a safety-related monitoring for a
drive axis.
5.2.1 Drag & Drop
Simply add a module or a Servo Driver using "drag and drop".
The basic steps are:
1. Move the pointer to the object.
2. Press and hold the mouse or button of the pointing device to "grab" the object. Use Esc key to undo
this.
3. "Drag" the object with the pointer to the desired location.
4. You can "insert" the object by releasing the button.
To create an application, proceed as follows:

5.2.2 Selection of the device type to be programmed

After the start of PANATERM for Safety or the creation of a new logic plan, an empty workspace appears. All
available devices are in the library. If the corresponding module is clicked, the module preview and the
following information are displayed in the Description window: programming interface, digital I/O, outputs,
inputs, etc. The desired module can be added using "Drag&Drop".
