9.7 PROGRAMMING AND OPERATION: VACUUM CONTAINERS ("jARS" fUNCTION)
WARNINGS:
• for these operations only use vacuum containers that are suitable for professional use and thus are of
adequate mechanical strength for the vacuum to be achieved.
• In order to store liquid foods, the containers can be filled to a maximum of three quarters of their useful
volume.
• In order to keep the product refrigerated at 3°C, ensure the container is able to withstand this temperature under
vacuum.
The programs that can be selected for containers are:
• Jars no stop
• Sensor jars
• Minimum level jars (MIN)
• Medium level jars (MED)
• High level jars (MAX)
• Very high level jars (EXTREME)
• Degas jars
9.7.1 PERfORMING ThE jARS CyClE WITh CONTAINER INTRODUCED INTO ThE VACUUM ChAMbER
This is the quickest and most convenient mode to create vacuum in containers and can be carried out with all the Cuisson
models. Insert all the shelves in the vertical tray before starting.
Choose a container of appropriate size for the vacuum chamber.
Proceed as follows:
1) Select the desired container program and program the value of sealing (program JARS NO STOP for external
embossed bags) or the value of vacuum duration (SENSOR jARS program):

Enter "containers program" mode "by pressing the PUMP key.

Select one of the seven programs for containers with the SEl selection key.
Sealing programming for JARS NO STOP and time programming for SENSOR JARS:

enter programming mode by pressing PROG for 3 seconds.
The display shows the programmed value.

Change the value. A number of LEDs proportional to the value switch on/off.

Confirm the value with PROG.
2) lower the lid to start the cycle; at the end of the cycle the lid opens automatically.
3) Interruption of the cycle: pressing the STOP key at any time, the machine immediately stops the cycle and the cham-
ber is decompressed.
4) The jars function remains active: to exit the mode, press the "PUMP" key again.
