Now the Deflector Blade is connected with the Deflector Shaft and ready for use.
Only use the Deflector Shaft in combination with the joimax
Shaver Handpiece Plus (REF JSHPP8000) or later versions and the
Shrill Console (REF JSDC25000) with a software version of 2.13
®
or later versions. Do not use the Deflector Shaft with the Shaver
Handpiece (REF JSHP06000).
Adhere to assembly procedure as described here and make
sure that the assembly is undertaken in a sterile operation room
environment.
Do not apply mechanical forces to the Deflector Shaft or Blade
during assembling! Do not crease/bend/kink the Blade!
The use of Deflector Blades without irrigation may damage
them and has to be prevented. The irrigation is intraoperatively
provided by a pump with tubing via respective connections of
the endoscope.
Do not use the suction port of the joimax
the Deflector Shaft is used.
Do not apply suction or intraoperative irrigation to the Luer Lock
connection at the Deflector Shaft.
8. APPLICATION
After assembly of the Deflector Shaft with a Deflector Blade and the Shaver
Handpiece, turn on the Shrill
Due to a magnet detection mechanism, the console automatically sets the set-
ting to 6000 rpm and right rotational directions.
Only use the Deflector Shaft in combination with the Shaver
Handpiece Plus (REF JSHPP8000) with a maximal rotation of
6000 rpm and right rotational direction!
