is described below. The tip of the Deflector Shaft can be angulated to 12°, 24°
and 36°. After insertion into the working channel of respective endoscopes, this
angulation of the Deflector Shaft allows the Deflector Blades for "milling around
the corner" under endoscopic vision.
The Deflector Blades are single-use products and not suitable
for reuse. In addition, the manufacturer rejects any liability in
the event of processing.
The Deflector Blades must no longer be used and must be
replaced in the event of:
• The expiration date of the sterile packaging is reached
or exceeded (see label).
• Mechanical damage to the blade.
• Insufficient cutting power.
• The blades are not running symmetrically and smoothly
(e.g. mechanical deformation).
The construction and design of the blades take into account the
best possible safety for patient and user. Nevertheless, when
operating the cutting or milling blades, there is a risk that other
structures than those intended may be damaged if the user or
patient moves unintentionally.
Reduce the risk of an unintentional application as much as
possible by working carefully and in a forward-looking manner.
The Deflector Shaft and Deflector Blades can only be used with
an endoscope exhibiting a suitable working channel diameter.
