After inserting the Deflector Shaft with Blade into the working channel of the
endoscope, the Deflector Blade can be used for removal of hard tissue or bone
material under endoscopic view in straight position (0°) as well as in the bent
position (12°, 24°, 36°) as described in figure 8–8.3 below. See also separate

When application is finished, make sure that the tip of the Deflector Shaft is
brought back into straight position (0°) using the deflection adjusting lever
(watch reference mark, see figure 9). Then remove the Deflector Shaft with Bla-
de from the endoscope's working channel (see figure 9.1).
