CAUTION
When separating flywheel from crankshaft's tapered section
with puller, flywheel will pop out by disk spring. To avoid this,
loosen the flywheel nut until it is nearly on the same level
with crankshaft end and separate the flywheel. Never remove
the flywheel nut before separating.
• IMPORTANT
- Before loosen or tighten the flywheel nut with a flywheel
stopper (2), fix the engine to the ground or solid base, so that
the engine can not raise. Then, loosen or tighten the flywheel
nut taking care that the stopper may not get out of place.
1- Set the flywheel stopper (2) to the flywheel 1.
2- Loosen the flywheel nut with the flywheel nut socket 78 (1) until
it is nearly on the same level with the crankshaft end.
3- Set the flywheel puller 2 assembly (3) to separate the flywheel
from the crankshaft's tapered section.
4- Remove the flywheel puller 2 assembly (3), flywheel nut, flywheel
stopper (2) and remove the flywheel 1.
(When reassembling)
Apply Moricoat oil to the seat of the flywheel nut and engine oil to
the thread of the crankshaft, and tighten the nut to the specified
torque.
- Take care not to damage the tapered section of the crankshaft.

PRECAUCIÓN
Cuando se separa el volante desde la sección cónica del
cigüeñal con un extractor, el volante saltará por la acción del
resorte. Para evitar esto, afloje la tuerca del volante hasta
que esté casi al mismo nivel que el extremo del cigüeñal y
separe el volante. Nunca saque la tuerca del volante antes de
hacer esta separación.
• IMPORTANTE
- Antes de afloiar o apretar la tuerca del volante usando un
traba volante (2), fijar el motor al piso o a una base sólida de
manera tal que, por reacción el motor, no tienda a levantarse.
Luego afloje o apriete la tuerca cuidando que la traba no se zafe.
