1. How to remove the gauge components and upper feed roller
(mechanism with differential feed and mechanism without differential feed)
WARNING :
Perform the work after turning OFF the power to prevent accidents caused by the abrupt start of the
sewing machine.
To perform the standard adjustment, remove the gauge components " needle !6 , presser yoke !9 , throat plate @4 ,
differential feed dog @6 , and main feed dog @8 ", the cover components " needle bar roller cover 2 , and looper cover @1 ",
upper feed roller frame !1 components, roller pressure regulating screw 6 , and pressure regulating plate spring ssembly
!4 before adjustment.

The directions of front, rear, right, and left
during standard adjustment are based on
the operator working position. Therefore,
the forward rotation of the pulley is coun-
terclockwise.
Loosen setscrews 1 and remove the needle bar and
roller cover 2 .
Loosen setscrew #0 and simultaneously remove side
cover 8 and the packing.
Loosen nut 4 and remove the washer and clutch
connection rod 5 .
Remove roller pressure regulating screw 6 .
Loosen setscrew 7 in the upper feed roller shaft, lift
upper feed roller shaft 9 and roller bar guide plate !0
and remove roller frame !1 .
When the upper feed roller shaft 9 is lifted,
the guide fi nger !0 interferes with the lift le-
ver crank !2 . Therefore, remove the upper
feed roller assembly !1 after lifting the lift
lever crank !2 slightly.
