4) Sganciare l'albero cardanico dalla trattrice, ed appoggiarlo al
gancio predisposto.
5) Loosen and unhook the third point, following the fi rst and se-
cond.
6.0 BEFORE USE
6.1 MACHINES SUPPLIED PARTLY
BROKEN-DOWN
Before starting the machine, check that:
- The machine is perfectly in order, that the lubricants are at the
correct levels (see «Maintenance» chapter) and that all parts
subject to wear and deterioration are fully effi cient.
- Check the machine, also thet fi tted with roller, is correctly posi-
tioned for obtain the rigth working depth.
6.2 MOUNTING OF THE ACCIDENT
PREVENTION GUARDS
Before starting the machine, check that:
- The machine is perfectly in order, that the lubricants are at the
correct levels (see «Maintenance» chapter) and that all parts
subject to wear and deterioration are fully effi cient.
- Check the machine, also thet fi tted with roller, is correctly posi-
tioned for obtain the rigth working depth.
WARNING
POTENTIAL SHEARING OF THE LOWER LIMBS. POTENTIAL
SERIOUS INJURIES OR DEATH.
The accident prevention guards are delivered dismantled for
shipping volume needs. Before commissioning the machine,
check to be certain that all accident prevent guards are in place
and correctly installed.
By using "U" bolts 1 and nuts 2 (Fig.13), assembly the front protec-
tions 3 (Fig.13) in order to cover the shaded area going from the lower
connection to the external side, as showed on the picture Fig.12. The
clearance between the front protections (3) and the clearance between
the lower connections and its nearest protection, must be maximum
of 60 mm (see Fig.12). External front protection (3) must be mounted
as near as possible to the external side. The front-side protection (4)
must be fi xed to this latter, on the most external position, by means of
screw (5) and nut (6). In case of assembly of optional (front wheel, track
eradicators) on the shaded area, position the front protections in order
to leave clearances maximum of 60 mm. In case it would not be pos-
sible to leave this clearances, or if the protections are damaged, order
new ones as soon as possible, giving the serial number of the machine.
In case of assembly of the side discs, assembly also protection (1
Fig.14). Leave ,between the protections, a clearance of maximum 60
mm. On the side discs kit, there are two kinds of protection sheets;
assembly the one that presents the same inclination of the other front
protections of the machine.

None of the following servicing, adjustment and preparation
operations must be carried out unless the pto is disengaged,
the machine is on the ground, the tractor engine is off and the
tractor itself is safely at a braked.
