8.9 COUNTERFLANGES
The counterfl anges make stronger the connection of the blades to
the rotors. This optional is specially recommended on harder soils.
8.10 TUNGSTEN CARBIDE BLADES (Fig.49)
These new hoes are made by adding to the standard ones a
tungsten coating on the external surface of the knife. This increases
the overall tool life by preserving its cutting edge despite wear. They
are also available for counter-fl ange version.
The special material applied on most exposed surface of blades
reduces tools wear and increases their lifespan up to 3 times more.
These parts are specially recommended for application on most
abrasive soils.
8.11 FLOATING THIRD POINT HITCH (Fig.50)
This kit is essential to limit the stress generated by the tractor,and
is one of the ideal accessories for this type of machine.
8.12 REAR WHEELS (Fig.51)
This kit guarantees an optimal uniformity of working depth for
machines not equipped with a rear roller.
8.13 SIDE CONVEYORS FOR ROLLER KIT
(ORCHARD) (Fig.52)
This is a second kit dedicated to orchard cultivation. This kit can
be assembled only in combination with a rear roller, and consists
in a pair of side conveyors that fl atten the accumulations of soil left
by the passage of the rotary tiller.
8.14 ANTICLOGGING KIT (Fig.53)
This kit prevents the adhesion of damp soil under the frame,
preserving the hoes from premature wear.
