vidual of the owner's choosing, can carry out the main-
tenance, replacement, or repair of the emission control
devices and systems as long as VM MOTORI STEL-
LANTIS EUROPE service manual technical instructions
are respected.

VM MOTORI STELLANTIS EUROPE has obtained the
certification of its quality assurance regime in complian-
ce with UNI EN ISO 9001 standards and with the even
stricter prescriptions established by Ford, Chrysler and
General Motors car manufacturer association under
the QS-9000 Quality System Standard for the manu-
facture of Diesel engines. Moreover, its environmental
management system has been certified against the ISO
14001 standard.

It is the operator's responsibility to perform all safety
checks, to ensure that all lubrication, cooling and mainte-
nance instructions are complied with for safe operation.
Normal maintenance service and replacement parts are
the responsibility of the owner or operator and as such,
are not considered defects in workmanship or material
within the terms of the warranty. Individual operating
habits and usage contribute to the need for manintenance
service.
Proper maintenance and care of your engine will en-
sure optimum performance and dependability and will
keep your overall operating expenses at a minimum.
VM MOTORI STELLANTIS EUROPE suggest to rely on
Authorized Repair Facilities to manage through periodic
checkups on your engine in order to ensure a correct
implementation of the maintenance instructions provided
within the service manual.
We are confident that you will understand the technical
importance of this instructions, which is mainly aimed at
protecting our Clients from any unpleasant situation.
