25.2. Differential Weighing - Quick Access Buttons
Each working mode features automatically displayed set of default on-screen quick access buttons.
The set can be modified, i.e. you can add out-of-list quick access buttons to it. Such operation
requires particular permissions level.
This section presents only those buttons that are characteristic for Differential Weighing mode.
Weighing A
Press to start weighing initial mass <A>. The process is carried out as a separate
operation.
Weighing (T+A)
Press to start sample container taring which is next followed automatically by sample
weighing (non-separable operations). Upon initiation you are asked to set sample's
name.
Tare (T)
Press to start sample container taring. The process is carried out as a separate
operation. Upon initiation you are asked to set sample's name.
Weighing B
Press to start weighing final mass <B>. The button triggers differential weighing mode
Series
Press to select a sample for which the differential weighing process is to be carried out.
Sample
Press to select a sample for currently carried out process of a particular series.
Copy Tare
Press to copy tare value, determined for a given sample, to all current series samples
(for which the tare value has not been assigned yet).
Deleting Value
Press to delete the most recently recorded mass value (tare, weighing A or weighing B).
Add sample
and
Press to add a new sample, window with an on-screen keyboard is displayed, use it to
provide the new sample name. In order to add a new sample first it is necessary to
select series for which the sample is to be added. Mind not to start weighing operation
before selecting the series and adding the sample.
25.3. Adding Series to Series Database
Series Database comprises series and series samples.
While creating a series, first set its name, next add samples. The software is intuitive and you are
guided by means of respective messages. Provide a name for each sample. To add a series go
either to series database or differential weighing mode.
Procedure:
1. Enter <
Database> submenu and press <Series> button.
2. Press <
Add> button, a series is added.
A new record is automatically added to the database, it is opened in an editing mode. Enter the
necessary parameters.
