Address
Give address of balance connected to a computer.
•
Continuous transmission
Available options: NO, YES (printout format is conditioned by set weighing printout template –
see parameter below).
•
Interval
Parameter enabling you to set frequency of printouts for continuous transmission.
Frequency of printouts is set in seconds, wherein the accuracy is 0.1s.
Time values range between 0.1 and 1000 s. Interval setting is valid for continuous
transmission activated using balance and computer.

Weighing printout template
Parameter enables printout customization to be carried out in a window with printout template
(for detailed information about creating printouts refer to section 30.19 of this user manual).

E2R System
E2R is a supervision and control system designed to monitor all weighing processes carried
out on a balance, with E2R system activated some databases can be operated using
computer exclusively (access to specified functions and options using weighing instrument is
not possible).
Caution! < E2R System> can only be activated by balance manufacturer or by authorized
personnel. Turn the continuous transmission off in order to provide correct cooperation with E2R system.

32.2. Printer

<Printer> submenu allows you to:
•
set port for establishing communication with a printer,
•
define printer's code page (by default: 1250),
•
define control
Caution: Codes must be entered in a hexadecimal form!
•
define printout templates.
To ensure correct cooperation of the balance with the printer (correct printout of diacritical signs of
a given language), respective baud rate, obligatory for a given printer, must be chosen (see the
printer settings). Additionally code page of a sent printout must be accordant with a code page of
a printer.
There are two methods for obtaining code page accordance:
•
by setting the right code page in printer settings (read the printer manual) – respective to
printout code page set in a balance; or
•
by sending control code, from a balance to the printer, which automatically sets the right code
page (respective to code page set in a balance) in advance before execution of the data
printout – it is possible only for printers equipped with such option.
Exemplary balance settings for correct cooperation (printout of Polish signs) with EPSON thermal
printer connected to RS232 port:
