A respective menu is displayed, using it press <
sinker's volume value, take it from the sinker's hanger.

Process of density determination begins.
Procedure:
1. Install density determination kit.
2. In order to record density value for a particular product in products database, go to <Settings>
menu, set <Assign density to product> parameter and press <Product> quick access button to
make the product active.
3. Press < START> button.
4. Follow the displayed commands.
5. Carry out measurement in the air, wait for a stable measurement result and press <
6. Carry out measurement in the tested liquid, wait for a stable measurement result and press <

7. Density result is displayed.
8. Press < > button to complete the procedure.
Caution!
Press < > button to start new density determination process with the same settings.

20.5. Air Density

< > Air density value is on eof numerous data required for calculation of measurement result
correction, which correction is an effect of air BUOYANCY compensation. Another value required for
the calculation is weighed sample density. The function of air density determination is enabled only in
balances with reading unit lower than d=1mg.
Determining density of air requires use of a dedicated set of mass standards (additional equipment),
specific for a given balance model.
Procedure:
1. Press < Air density> button.
2. Menu of Air Density function is displayed.

4. Press field for entering weight value of steel mass standard, enter the value as provided in
calibration certificate.
