15.1. Weighing Unit Selection
Change of weighing unit is carried out by pressing the weighing unit pictogram visible next to the
value of measurement result. Upon pressing the weighing unit, list of available units is displayed.
Select the unit you need, the software automatically recalculates indicated value.

15.2. Good Weighing Practice
To assure long-term operation and correct mass measurements, follow the rules presented below:
•
Start the balance with no load on the weighing pan (permissible value of load on the weighing
pan at start is ±5% of the maximum capacity).
•
Load the weighing pan steadily avoiding shocks.
•
Go to <Setup/Misc./Vibrations Detection> parameter and enable control of weighing pan
loading (for detailed information read section 34.8).
•
Place weighed loads centrally on the weighing pan.
•
Avoid side loading, in particular side shocks.
15.3. Levelling
The PLUS ultra-microbalances and microbalances and the A.PLUS microbalances and analytical
balances are equipped with Reflex Level System, which allows monitoring of the balance level and
automatic levelling.
