Incorrect needle used Make sure the SURECAN
Filling Needle is being used
The SURECAN Filling Check the needle position
Needle is improperly
positioned
The pump is positioned Use radiography to check
incorrectly pump position
The SURECAN Filling Inspect the needle
Needle is damaged
or occluded
Use only the SURECAN
Filling Needle provided and retry
Ensure the needle is being held perpendicular
to the central port and retry, twisting
needle to ensure penetration
Treat accordingly
If the needle appears damaged
or occluded, discard and use a
new needle
