MACHINE TOWING IN CASE OF FAILURE
The illustration shows the intervention points and the description explains the procedures to be
followed.

1. Couple the bar to the emergency hook A of the
machine and to that of the vehicle used for to-
wing.
Important
Before coupling the machine to the towing ve-
hicle, make sure that the latter has a suitable
power and size.
2. Make sure that the coupling pins are correctly
fitted and locked through the safety plugs to
prevent them from accidentally slipping out of
place.
3. Loosen slightly the locknut B.
4. Tighten completely sleeve C (see photo).
5. Repeat the operations on the brake of the other
track.
6. Loosen the screws E (red colour) by 1.5 turns.
The machine is ready for towing

Important
Towing can be carried out only for short distan-
ces at a speed that should not exceed 1 km/h.
Once the towing operation has been completed
ALWAYS restore the initial conditions as indicated.
1) Tighten the screws E.
2) Unscrew completely sleeve C.
3) Tighten the locknut B.
4) Repeat the operations on the brake of the other
track.
Important
If the machine shuts down in an area that is not
accessible to emergency vehicles, carry out the
towing with a rope or a chain.
Make sure that the towing elements (rope or
chain) are suitably sized to avoid sudden de-
tachments.
