REPLACING HYDRAULIC OIL
To ensure correct lubrication and viscosity in
hydraulic pumps, oil must be replaced on a re-
gular basis.
Caution - Warning
Protect your hands and body from high pres-
sure fluids. Once working is finished, oil inside
the machine is still very hot; pressure is high in
the circuit even if the machine is stopped.
The illustration shows the intervention points and
the description explains the procedures to be follo-
wed.
1. Place the machine on a stable and flat surface.
2. Stop the machine
3. Let the engine cool down appropriately.
4. Clean carefully all parts before opening the
caps of the tank.
5. Open cap A.
6. Open the drain plug B of the pipe bearing the
red label and collect any waste oil in a sufficient-
ly large container.
7. Screw up again plug B.
8. Add fresh hydraulic oil from the filling cap A until
reaching the correct level.
Important
!
Use oils that are recommended by the manufac-
turer. Do not mix oils of different brands or cha-
racteristics. For more details, see the paragraph
"Lubricants and hydraulic oils table".
9. Screw up again cap A.
10. Start the engine and allow it to operate for about
5 minutes, then switch it off.
Caution - Warning
The oil level check must ALWAYS be carried
out after switching off the machine.
11. Check again the oil level (see „Hydraulic oil le-
vel check") and, if necessary, top up.
Caution - Warning
Do not dump oil and/or residues into the envi-
ronment but carry out their disposal in compli-
ance with legislation in force in the country
where they are used.
