REPLACING THE ENGINE OIL FILTER
The illustration shows the intervention points
and the description explains the procedures to
be followed.
A
1. Place the machine on a stable and flat surface.
2. Stop the machine
3. Let the engine cool down appropriately.
Caution - Warning
Wear all the personal protection devices requi-
red to protect airways (anti-inhalation masks)
and eyes (goggles).
4. Remove oil from the engine following the proce-
dure "Engine oil replacement".
5. Remove the filter cartridge A with asuitable
wrench.
6. Apply a small amount of clean oil on gaskets
and on the thread of the new cartridge.
7. Clean carefully the filter housing and fit again
the new cartridge tightening it up with a wrench.
8. Add fresh engine oil until reaching the correct
level and follow the procedure „Engine oil level
check".
9. Remove carefully any oil leaks caused by repla-
cement operations.
10. Start the engine.
11. Make sure there are no leaks in the system.
12. Check again the engine oil level.
Caution - Warning
Do not dump oil and/or residues into the envi-
ronment but carry out their disposal in compli-
ance with legislation in force in the country
where they are used.
