DEF FLUID DOSING CONTROL UNIT (DCU BOX) FILTER REPLACEMENT
Before replacing the filter, make sure
that the engine ignition key in the
vehicle instrument panel is in "OFF"
position.
Before replacing the filter, make sure
that the DEF fluid dosing control unit
(DCU box) has performed the circuit
emptying operation.
Do not lubricate any part of the filter
with oil or fuel.
Proceed as follows.
1 - Loosen the plug cap (A).
2 - Remove the filter cartridge (B).
3 - Clean the filter seat (B) and the DEF
fluid dosing control unit (DCU box) with
hot DEF fluid and check if there are any
impurities.
4 - Lubricate the seals of the new
filter cartridge (B) with DEF fluid or
demineralised water.
5 - Insert the new filter cartridge (B) inside
the DEF fluid dosing control unit (DCU
box).
6 - Tighten the plug cap (A).
Tighten the plug cap (A) with a
tightening torque of 20 Nm.
