- The R756EU6C engine has been
designed and manufactured as an
engine for the generation of mechanical
energy; ANY OTHER DIFFERENT OR
UNINTENDED USE RELIEVES VM
MOTORS FCA ITALY FROM ANY RISKS
THAT MAY ARISE. In any case, the use
of the engine other than that agreed at the
time of purchase RELIEVES VM MOTORI
FCA ITALY FROM ANY RESPONSIBILITY
FOR POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO ENGINE
AND PROPERTY OR INJURY TO
PERSONS.
- The engine has been manufactured in
compliance with the most recent safety
regulations, however it is good practice to
keep in mind that any moving part can pose
a danger. Therefore, it is recommended
never to operate on any moving part. Make
sure that no operator is near the engine
before starting it.
- Do not touch the hot parts of the engine.
Avoid the effects of heat radiated by the
engine.
- The operator in charge of the engine
installation and maintenance must wear
CLOTHING appropriate to the work
environment and the situation in which s/
he operates: in particular, the use of very
wide clothing, chains, bracelets, rings or
any other object that may be entangled
in moving parts must be avoided. Only
use clothing and/or protective equipment
provided for by the laws in force on safety
at work.
- The area in which the operator is working
must always be kept clean and free from
any liquid (oil, etc.) and solid residues (metal
chips, etc.).
- All maintenance operations should be
carried out by using suitable and efficient
equipment and tools.

SAFETY INFORMATION
- Before starting working, the operator
must be perfectly aware of the position
and operation of all controls and engine
characteristics; check all safety devices on
the engine on a daily basis.
- Operate in a well ventilated area: engine
exhaust gases are toxic. Do not operate in
areas with flammable materials or any other
part that may burn in contact with the hot
parts of the engine, such as the exhaust gas
system.
- Cut power supply off according to the
instructions given in this manual.
– Do not keep using the engine if anomalies
signalled or not by warning lamps - are
detected, and in particular if suspect
vibrations occur.
- In case of anomaly, stop immediately
the engine or reduce the speed as much
as possible and reach the closest service
centre.
- Restart again the engine only when the
normal operating conditions have been
restored.
- Do not tamper with any device to achieve
performance other than that intended.
- Do not modify any engine parts (such as
connections, holes, finishings, etc.) for any
reason to adapt additional devices.
- Before reusing the engine after work,
remove and thoroughly clean any foreign
material deposits on the engine components
or in the engine compartment to avoid
malfunctions, damage and related risks
(e.g. fire).
- VM MOTORI FCA ITALY refuses any
objective and subjective responsibility
if the behavioural safeguards referred
to in this manual are not applied and
respected. VM MOTORI FCA ITALY
cannot consider every reasonably
unpredictable use that may pose a
potential hazard.
