FUEL FILTER CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT
Follow the procedure below.
1 - Carry out the operation with the engine
off and cold.
2 - Ignition key removed.
3 - Prepare a container under the filter to
collect any leak.
4 - Disassemble the fuel filter cartridge
with suitable standard wrench and replace
it.
5 - Lubricate the seal of the new fuel filter
cartridge before assembling it.
6 - Fit the new fuel filter cartridge.
7 - Bleed air from the fuel supply circuit
(see "Fuel supply circuit bleeding" on
page 56).
8 - Turn the engine on and check for any
fuel leaks.

Fuel Filter Cartridge
In case of fuel leaks, stop the
engine immediately and contact the
manufacturer of the vehicle in which
the engine is installed or a workshop
authorised by VM MOTORI FCA ITALY.
Do not dump any polluting material
in the environment. Carry out their
disposal in compliance with the
relevant legislation in force.
