MANDATORY SERVICE
IMPORTANT
With reference to the warranty conditions
applied to the MR506 engine to access the
second year of engine warranty, it is always
necessary to have the mandatory service
performed by an authorised VM MOTORI FCA
ITALY workshop.
ENGINE MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT
The descriptions and images relating to main-
tenance operations are shown with the top
engine cover removed pre-emptively.

The mandatory service operations include engine
replacement of the following components:
- Oil Filter Cartridge
- Galvanic anode
- Sea water pump impeller
The mandatory service must be carried out
between the eleventh and thirteenth month after
the engine is put into service, or when it reaches
three hundred operating within 12 months from
the engine service warranty activation, whichever
