The touchscreen interface on the console provides controls for adjusting or capturing the video
image. The menus are described below.
H H o o m m e e S S c c r r e e e e n n
The Home Screen is the default screen. It displays the current camera mode and it provides
access to subsequent menus and common camera functions.
1. Use the arrows to scroll through preset camera settings designed for S S u u r r g g i i c c a a l l S S p p e e c c i i a a l l t t i i e e s s .
Choose from:
— Arthroscopy
— ENT/Skull
— Hysteroscopy
— Laser
— Standard
2. Press and hold the WB button for two seconds to activate the W W h h i i t t e e B B a a l l a a n n c c e e function. See
the Performing the White Balance Test section for more detail.
A checkmark appears on the button after White Balance is complete.
3. Press the camera button to C C a a p p t t u u r r e e a a P P h h o o t t o o .
A single beep will sound to indicate that a signal for capture/record has been sent to the
digital capture console.
4. Press the D D R R E E b b u u t t t t o o n n to navigate to the DRE mode screen. This button will appear only when
the Arthroscopy, Cystoscopy, ENT/Skull, or Laparoscopy surgical specialty is selected.
5. Press the record button to R R e e c c o o r r d d a a V V i i d d e e o o . Press again to stop recording.
A double beep will sound to indicate that a signal for capture/record has been sent to the
digital capture console.
6. Press the S S e e t t t t i i n n g g s s button to navigate to the Menu screen.
