Figure 9: Improper EndoAnchor placement. Loss of perpendicular apposition may result
in deployment difficulty or suboptimal implant performance.
NOTE: Successful EndoAnchor penetration may be assessed by verifying that the tip of the anchor
can be seen beyond (outside of) the stent structure at the PAUSE state.
• If the EndoAnchor is in the desired location, complete the final stage of EndoAnchor deployment
by firmly pressing the middle of the Forward Control Button. When complete, an audible tone
is heard (three audible tones) and the reverse green arrow will flash.
WARNING: Do not attempt to deploy an EndoAnchor without first confirming that the position
of the Heli-FX Applier is firmly against the endograft and aortic wall. Deployment of an EndoAnchor
without proper apposition may result in poor endograft fixation or a dislodged EndoAnchor, which
may require endovascular or surgical intervention to retrieve.
CAUTION: Under fluoroscopy, carefully and slowly retract the Heli-FX Applier away from the graft
wall to ensure it is released from the deployed EndoAnchor.
