3) EACVP line short-circuit check
• Disconnect the ECM connector B
continuity between the IAC valve 2P connector
main wire harness side No.2 (Green/Red) terminal
and the engine ground.

VIEWED FROM THE TERMINAL SIDE
Is there continuity?
YES - Repair short in the main wire harness
between the ECM and the IAC valve.
NO - Go to "4) EACVM
inspection."
4) EACVM line short-circuit inspection
• Check for continuity between the IAC valve 2P
connector main wire harness side No.1

(Green/Black) terminal and the engine ground.

Is there continuity?
YES - Repair short in the main wire harness
between the ECM and the IAC valve.
NO - Go to "5) IAC valve line open-circuit
inspection."

Is the measurement within 10 - 13 ?
YES - Replace the ECM with a new one and
recheck.
NO - Repair open in the main wire harness
between the ECM and the IAC valve.
