17) Connect the main relay 8P connector to the main relay.
18) Connect the neutral switch 2P connector.

19) Connect the 14P connector and the 6P connector.

20) Tighten the 8 x 18 mm flange bolt securely while pushing

the starter cable (-) against the projection on the
crankcase.

Install the starter cable (+) and the main wire harness B
terminal on the starter solenoid, and tighten the 6 mm hex

nut to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 5.5 N . m (0.6 kgf . m, 4.1 lbf . ft)

Install the power tilt relay B terminal on the starter
17
solenoid, and tighten the 6 mm self-locking nut to the
specified torque [Power trim/tilt type only].
18
TORQUE: 5.5 N . m (0.6 kgf . m, 4.1 lbf . ft)
